A.W. Stubbs & Son was established in 1904 by our Grandfather, Alexander William. His son, Leslie Stubbs, took over the running of the firm in 1959 and subsequently in 1984 Leslies two sons Colin and David took over. In 2004 the firm celebrated its centenary.

Although predominately a carpentary and joinery company we can offer a full construction service, from minor repairs to large alterations and extensions.

Our joinery shop if fully equipped and we produce quality products including windows, doors, staircases and other specialist items. We can also provide a service supplying and fitting items from building merchants and joinery suppliers including kitchens. Both commercial and domestic works are catered for. A substantial amount of our work is to provide a maintenance and alteration service to some of the many industrial companies within the south east. The majority of our work is within Kent, but works further afield can be catered for.

At the present we have three employees as well as two working partners. We are founder members of the Medway Fair Trader scheme which, in collaboration with the Medway Office of Fair Trading, provides a service in which the customer can have confidence in the contractor which they have chosen.
